College Over...Work Time

To my fellow readers,

This is by far...the longest update of my blog...its not that I abandoned this blog...its just that I recently started working. In short, my work life is not as free as college life, where i can joke around, collecting ideas and post them into this old blog website.

Anyways, rest assure peeps, I m still alive and breathing as always..xD

Currently, I m working in a company in Ipoh, named Pamuri Holdings Sdn. Bhd. This company manages brands such as Mobil, DoubleA, 100Yen and TokoTokoya(newly launched...branch of 100Yen)...

At the moment, I will be under Mobil's lubricants division as a Marketing and Administrative Executive .

I just started this job since September 1, 2010. So far, so good. The funny thing is that when I arrived, I had to handle two major events (one is early October and one is end October)

What timing..@_@

The bright side of working is almost the same as college...which is making me more independent...

I m sure you all are wondering...how could this happen as college is not the same as working...

here are the answers:

College - live in an new and alien place
- take public transports which is totally new to me
- eating outside
- washing my own clothes
-walk to college


Working

• can drive independently(FINALLY) since got my license on 2005..thats 5 years!
• use my own money to buy/pay for things
• don't have to trouble asking parents for money, rather i give them money=)
  

You might think that college life for me makes me more independent than working life due to the number of reasons.

> My explanation is that..college life was my youth and younger time..so can do more things than working.

In summary, working life made me feel old and fat!why?

• Clothing style-TUCK IN . Damn, this made me feel fat (although most ppl thinks i m not fat) Seriously??
• Stamina- Working life is even more tiring than college life (despite playing sports at times) due to the working hours spend in the office..With this lack of stamina, it made me feel old..>.<
  
• Nightstalker NO MORE- From bed time 1am-3am changes to 11am when started working, the fatigue after working hours will drain most of my energy even if I have less work.

These are NOT my complains of working life. Its just a description of working life. It can be good and bad in a way. But, for me it is more beneficial as I can learn more about life in the outer world other than the inner world(study)

This is a rare post from a person who work and hardly have time to type out my story about working life making me feeling old and fat! (Even people also have time also they wont tell le...so at least i did...hahaha...)

Starting from now, I will change my approach of blogging.

And my tagline is....Short & Sweet(S & S)

I might not have the time to type my blog. But if i have nothing to do, then demdemdemdem....I would...xD

Waka Waka

for those football fans out there, when u see this title, i m sure u will know what is it.........

its the World Cup 2010 song..yes..World Cup fever.....ssssssssssssss.....to be honest, this World Cup really made many Malaysians, especially KL people go nuts and fever over this event..but as for me...i don feel the feverish..same goes to my best football friend, Ming.

u want prove?alright..In Subang normally i always hang out at Asia Cafe to watch football matches and at that fever time...the first game of World Cup is South Africa vs Mexico...don get me wrong but i went there to play pool with my friend

to my surprise, the place was freaking pack with people...lol..i mean its not like two big teams playing in the finals..come on...and lucky i made a decision not to watch and instead went to play pool coz the match was freaking boringggg..


so yea..in short my impression towards World Cup is that its quite boring..the playstyles of most of the teams were slow..and can make me fall asleep...EPL is so much better than this due to its fast pace action..GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED...lol

now its World Cup knockout stage...South Korea and US were knocked out in the Round of 16...just hope that starting from this stage onwards, the World Cup would be very interesting to watch...if not..there is no WAKA WAKA factor..lol

My debut as a director/actor

If u r asking whether its in a real movie, the answer is No. Aiks too bad..lol..

My assignment 2 for IPD requires me to do the following genre:

1. Factsheet- something like brochure


2. Magazine Feature- magazine stuff


3. Vlog- Video

these genre are based on 1Malaysia concept and its kinda hard at first to do these things as they are kinda new to me...especially Vlog...once I finished the factsheet and magazine feature(took me quite some time), I turned to my Vlog. at first I was thinking to sing in the video..but its a NO NO as I might get tense up and screw the video up...lol

coincidently, at that time was one of my housemate's birthday, and they bought 'Chocolate indulges' cake for him.

so I took it and it was sooooooo dammmmmnnn sweeeet...adding salt to my wound..at that time it was nighttime and with the amount of sugar in me..I could not sleep at all..so throughout the night..I thought about my Vlog assignment and I had a plan in my head...and i cant believe i m saying this but..'Thanks guys for the cake eventhough i could not sleep!'..In the end I slept at around 4am+ LOL

my goal to make this 1Malaysia video is to make it interesting, meaningful and humourous...and my idea fits well for them...

I m sure u all are wondering what video is this and what is it all about..

well, at the moment i finished my video...but i will only post it up in here once i handed up my assignment next Monday so that every work that I do are done well..in other words..i want to keep the momentum going=)

let me summarise about the Vlog...directing and acting in the Vlog was a tiring but memorable and fun process...not only that...making and editing the video was also very fun...

I will assure u all that i will share the fun with u guys by posting the Vlog next week onwards..so be patient ya=)

Holiday Out..Work In

This post is total opposite to 'Holiday Inn' and 'Work Out'...no surprise...thats why i came up with this title...

Holiday Out

2 weeks of holidays just ended like...pofff....what to do...this is life...need to move on..

as usual i went back to Subang by the same bus(dunno how many times i said this..judging by how many times i travel from ipoh to subang and vise versa)

the bus driver at that time was a different one but same behaviour...Waving and Waving..OMG...cant take it already...not gonna talk about them anymore lol


Work In

Now back to reality..i have assignments coming and mandarin test all next week...

IPD and PR2 assignments..

for IPD assignment 2..i need to produce factsheet, magazine feature and vlog...factsheet..something like brochure...magazine feature is stuff like factsheet but in different format...and vlog....need to make video and publish it for my assignment..this video is not just an ordinary video..but a video showcasing me!that one needed to be done soon..as the following week is the due date for my assignment!so fast..

PR2 assignment 2...next Thursday is my assignment 2 due date..and the following week will be my presentation week..which is the same week as my IPD assignment 2 due date...arghhh...

Mandarin Test

next wednesday, it would be my final class....which is test...same week as my PR2 assignment 2 due date...but after that i don have any more mandarin classes.

Concluding

despite taking only 2 subjects +1 mandarin...i still have lots of work to be done...never take things easy eventhough u have 2 subjects only in this sem..thats what i always been thinking..

though its a lot of task to be done...i will not give up to achieve my goals which are....

is the time where i went back to ipoh by bus...as u know...from my post,' my journey on the way to subang' all the bus details are all from there..

remember this post that i was talking about a bus driver..( i remember i posted it in this blog somewhere..but after searching for it for a very long time..i cant seem to find it)

so means i have to start...Freeeeeeshhh...

in the last post, there were no images or videos...only words..which is kinda boring and depend a lot on ur imaginations...but now...no worries..i managed to get images and a video footage of it...

what's it?

The 'it' refers to the funny bus driver during my journey back to ipoh..

Story Begins....

as usual..the bus came late...more than half and hour...and i sat down...right behind the bus driver..and straight away i slept..was kinda tired..

once i woked up..i saw a 'blur' image of hands...flying around me...and i was like..'what am i dreaming about now?'and i took a picture of it in a blur mode..

OMG...he only has 4 fingers in a hand?

when i was finally fully awake...i took another image and..

whew thank god..i thought there was an alien hijacking the bus...

i could not believe my eyes but apparently he was waving whenever another bus pass by him...
but not once...but everytime!..

i was like...hohoho...i gonna record this s***..haha..

and so i didnt hesitate to do it as there was no passenger sitting next to me..whew..lucky it was different compared to the previous post.

it took me quite some time to record this because when i was about to record it...he stopped at the rest area..=,=...HUAHUAHUA

Study Break for 2 weeks??

normally my study break would last for 1 week due to UniSA's style of study break. But i m studying a UniSA course. Why do i still have another extra week?i m sure this question would play in all of ur minds..

well, as u all know from my post,'my studies 2010: the subjects, teachers and their mash-ups', i m taking two communication subjects.

the great things about it are that:-

1. the study period for this is very little
2. its all assignment based...no exams..
3. 1+2= another week of study break

yes...two weeks..even my friend ask me

sadly, they are wrong as after the holidays i have tonnes of assignment to be handed up!!

another busy week..with blogging...sadly its not blogging on this blog site...but my other blog site that is related to my IPD assignment...

b4 this busy week, i had another bad weekend. another dull, nothing exciting type of weekend.hmm

talking about my assignment, its related to blogging. and its more towards normal assignment done in a blog. which means its serious webblogging and i never know its so freaking hard despite i m a frequent blogger!

these days i had been busy at my apartment doing this webblog and rarely go out and socialize with other people...

anyways i need to continue my 'serious' webblogging as this part is due this Friday online.

The worst weekend and day of my entire life

the weekend that i was looking forward to..

it was a very important weekend as the details were as follows:

1)Manchester United vs Chelsea Match
2)Meeting up with a friend of mine whom i have been waiting for

and other stuff that didnt expect to happen..

Saturday 3rd April 2010,

the match that i was looking forward. A BIG Match. the team that i support, Manchester United lose to Chelsea 1-2 and the last goal by Chelsea was so offside.

ok fine. i wasnt that disappointed coz its just a game and i was looking forward for my meeting with my friend.

Sunday 4th April 2010,

the moment that i was waiting for. the meeting with my friend who came all the way from Johor. she wanted to see me and of coz i wanted to see her after a loooong time.

turned out she could come to KL from Johor but don have the transport to go to Subang or anywhere else. there was some conflict in there and in the end, there were no meeting.

i was so frustrated when she told me she could not come. but i don blame her. its all up to faith and i cant do anything about it.

i was really looking forward to see her as i wanted to express my feelings to her after a long time. and those feelings are real.

and i could not express it thru online as i was afraid that she might think that i m not serious...and yea. thats why i was emo on this unlucky 4th day of the month.

to add more salt to my wound, later on that day my laptop got a big problem.

i could not load my laptop at all as the system told me that disk reading got error and ask me to restart.

even did i restart, it was still the same. so i was laptop-less for the whole Sunday.

Today Monday 5th April 2010

~morning

its the time where i send my laptop to the IT place near my apartment. and i found out that both my hard drives, C and D drive have major meltfunctions.

and all of my files were gone!!!!!

just like that..even my Back Up files that were in the D drive!!
and i need to buy a new harddisk 160g for rm150.

OMG..this is total bullshit.I cant believe my luck.

~afternoon

after that, i was on the way to KTM to head to my IPD class, and normally i use my Touch and Go to go thru the machine and turned out it didnt really work at all!i dunno if its the machine or the card but its really a bad LUCK!in the end i reluctantly use my rm1 note to go thru

and another thing is the waiting time, the KTM was supposed to reach on time but it only reach 10minutes after the scheduled departure.


the weekend and Monday today is the worst weeks that i ever had. i dunno how will i recover from these incidents but definitely i would not do silly stuff.

The weirdest sleep of my life

Every human deserve his or her sleep. BUT NOT a WEIRD SLEEP that is. I m sure u all are wondering why I said my sleep was weird.. and for that I m gonna explain to u all about it

So it was Wednesday night. U know. Every night u will feel tired(of coz it has nothing to do with clubbing coz I don’t usually go!). u know, after staying up all day light till night, u need a sleep

Before I explain more, I would like to deduct two types of sleeps that every human would endure. And No. it has nothing to do with sweet dreams or nightmares,

coz that’s just very kiddy way of explaining for a 22 year old guy..haha

The first type of sleep is deep sleep. This is VERY common among people. When they started to sleep, they just sleep with assistance from snoring and talking while they sleep.

(I do admit that I snore at times but the talking thing..not sure..lol)

When they woke up to start a new day, they will find it hard to wake up since they had a DEEP sleep. That’s what I was having for the past few days.

Thankful I was normal UNTIL YESTERDAY. This will be the second type of sleep. For this, I classified this as AWARE sleep. This will be explained more based on my weird sleep..

And yea so I started to sleep at around 12am+..and I was convinced that I was tired. As I lay down on my bed, I was rolling left and right, also surprising up and down. I could not sleep at all!

So in order to get a DEEP sleep..i tried to think bout happy stuff like tennis, my crushes, and so on…don’t need to be so detail about them haha…but sadly I still could not sleep at all.

This is where my AWARE sleep happens..

when I started sleeping, it was I think around 1 am +and I was CONSCIOUS that I was sleeping…

knowing that …in the later hour, I was aware that my sleep time was over and I was awake inside me despite my eyes were close. Sounds hard to believe?better believe it coz I m not making this s*** up…

And back to square one, I could not sleep back. Instead ..i just rest until the alarm rings. Yesterday I set my alarm to 6.15am and yea I assumed it was 6am so I waited for 15mins more…

But it didn’t ring at all, maybe while I was in a AWARE sleep mode, my estimation for time is very slow..coz u know when u r in sleep, its like u r in a different dimension..haha.

And yea I woke up and I checked the time.guess what?it was 5.12am!OMG..I was 1 hour earlier..oh no…

And since I was in a AWARE mode of sleep, I could not sleep back and in the end I have to stay awake till now..sad...=(

btw...this picture can describe me as the person who is aware that he is sleeping...not aware that he is an angel with wings OK??lol...

I think I wasnt aware that the time was earlier, and how come I call it AWARE sleep?

Simple…I am aware that I was sleeping…not other stuff.

thankfully my day in college was alright...no worries..There wasnt any ZOMBIE mode...a little fatigue..but thanks to Miss Jenny, i paid attention without caring about my fatigue..=)

my studies 2010: the subjects, teachers, and their mash -ups.

for this past few posts..i didnt really bother to talk further details on my studies...well..there is one main reason though..and because its boring to tell and even read about it!

thats why instead of talking about my studies..i talked about my hang out and happy happy stuff..like tennis, hang out times, Pussy Foot...u named it!haha...cant believe that drink is still fresh in my mind..erk..the taste...i still can feel it..why..oh why...=(

oh well..forget about that drink..its in the past..now must look into the future..and for that i m gonna talk about my studies..i will do my best to make this post an interesting one=)

This semester is considered for me as the final sem of my course...and i m taking two subjects...

1. Issues in Publication and Design(IPD)
2. Public Relations 2(PR2)

the good news for this sem is that..there is no exams!yay...

the bad news for this sem is that...there are more assignments!awww...oh well...cant always have what u want eh...

both of these subjects' teachers are females..IPD teacher is Miss Jenny....and PR2 is Miss Karmini...

for IPD...Miss Jenny is a very nice teacher..and the subject is kinda theory based and hard to absorb...but somehow she made this subject quite interesting..and made me also have a little interest in her...i mean...her teaching..

haha..don think too much guys!rawr!XD..but i admit...if there is other teachers teaching this subject other than her..i don think i can focus...coz she is a great teacher for me...so yea..thats Miss Jenny..

for PR2..Miss Karmini is just a teacher in training..not really an official teacher...she is new to this course...and in the class..she struggled to remember the names of the students..and so i suggested to her that she can call my group..3Js....

why?coz..my friends' names are John, Julian and Jay(me)...so yea..3Js...lolz...but recently...one of my friends and ex-housemate, Jun Tsien came to the class...and now its 4Js!!lol..

so its all female affair for my sem..i m sure u all think..its my lucky sem...but not really...as i m taking another subject..and don be shocked if i said this..

i m taking Mandarin aka Pu tong Hua(China Mandarin) class...yeap..thats right..the teacher is from China and he has the deep China Mandarin slang..which is really strong..and yes..i m learning that language...to talk...but not writing

so once i talk to u in Mandarin..don be shocked if i sounded like a Chinaman...not behaving like one..but talking like one..haha...

i m sure u would like to see the pictures of my teachers..but sadly i don have...and the reason is:

although adding pictures would add better design and issues for this post publication, it would not be a good public relations between the 2 female lecturers and I. And for sure, i will pu tong Mandarin hua(if translate , its putong= po tong(cut away), hua= language..so its potong Mandarin language) since i dont really type Chinese characters at all in this blog...hahaXD

100th Post! and How did i celebrate it...

this is the 100th post in my blog!*claps*what an achievement that was....not really actually...haha..just for fun... for this 100th post..i m gonna talk about what i did last two weekends ago...

same like last year...Ming, Fim and i were hanging out to watch football..instead of going to Asia Cafe all the time..Ming decided to go to a Taiwan restaurant(forget the name), for dinner and place called Soul Out to watch football... for dinner we order our own dishes...Ming and I ordered Noodle and Fim ordered fried rice...

forget to mentioned..we order the meat ball too..see how big they are@__@

the funny thing is that...we ordered our own meals and turned up...one meal is meant for 3 person! the waitress was serving us the food into 3 bowls!oh no......

the fried rice was damn nice...but the noodle wasnt that good...which is even worst coz Ming and I ordered the same dish!...so we kinda had to eat the same dishes...LOL...imagine the torture we endured..haha..


for desert...they gave us this drink:

lime juice

it tasted damn good...and u imagine..its desert...i don mind taking it as desert...since drinks were chinese tea served...(sorry no picture of that...but the cups and pots are like traditional type..so yea..just imagine=)...)


after dinner..we went to Soul Out to watch football..and yes...we ordered things again..but no food..so don worry..i m not in a food eating spree...or Ming's term..Mask of Madness...haha...

before i looked thru the menu...i wanna see how is the drinks look like in Soul Out..and so i checked at the counter and guess what we saw...

the red circle one...its Pussy Foot..omg..what a funny name... ok...guys and girls...don think that i m someone u think i am...

but this drink name is from a menu..drinks shown in menu are drinkable...so its no harm trying it...and so i did... Ming took Fruit Punch..and Fim...he ordered Hot chocolate...

and now...the one that we r waiting for..the drinks...starting with Hot Chocolate

looks sexy man...Fim has a good taste in choosing his drink..

its just like any fruit punch drink that u see..so its normal..

last but not least..the most unusual, funny, weird looking drink...here comes....

PUSSY FOOT

OMG..its so pinkish....ewww...in the dark i could not see...but when Ming took this photo..i was like..oh no..a girl's drink...and i was thinking..don worry..just drink the Pussy Foot..

and so i held the glass 's foot and drank the Pussy...Oh No..that sounds very very wrong...hahaha...

the taste...it just taste like yogurt...and i hate yogurt...erk...the guy said the drink is mixed with pineapple and mango...but i don taste any of them in the Pussy Foot...lol...

its the weirdest and worst drink i ever had...but rest assure...after drinking it, i wont turn into a female or act like a female..maybe as a joke i might imitate a girl..but not after drinking this pinkish drink!

so if u all..girls or guys like yogurt to keep ur body very slim...guys also can try to be slim..haha...then u should drink it...if not...just get the punch as a knock up drink for your day.

Chinese New Year 2010 part 2

this second part started off when i headed to Melaka with my family. it was the first half day of Chinese New year..

Sunday, 14th February 2010

my family and i left Jelebu after lunch..and we straight went to Melaka...was a little jam but i didnt really know that much as i was busy sleeping in the car....

b4 this...throughout my journey to Jelebu...i didnt even close my eyes in the car..i just couldnt...maybe i m too excited till i cant sleep...i guess...all those excitement energy were drained out by it..and due to it...i was tired on the way to Melaka..

when we reached Melaka...we checked in a hotel..stayed there for two days, one night...and at the same time...we visited my grandpa...and as usual...uncles, aunties, cousins...

there is no photos or videos taken in Melaka as there were nothing much to take...however...i m glad to see my uncles, aunties,cousins and my grandpa after one year of not-meeting-each-other..

basically...its just short one...but after the second day...i went back to Jelebu with family...and yea..basically its also like the first part...but without the FIREWORKS incident...haha..

Chinese New Year 2010 part 1

Wednesday 17th February 2010 as typed

~~Friday to Tuesday 12-16th February 2010~
this is the time period of my outing during the eve and Chinese New Year itself...

on friday, my family and i headed to Jelebu...as usual..its my father's hometown...we stayed there until Sunday...during my time there..it was great...family and relatives and i went to watch dragon dance, lion dances and some lovely fireworks...

and the good thing here is that i have a picture and videos of them...

ok start of with the picture...so far i only can get one picture because i was kinda lazy to snap..since i had seen lion dance, and dragon dance b4...but then as the celebration moved on..i managed to get this picture from my bro and its really funny once i describe it later..

ok...the Lion dance insisted that it will do something good if it approached the crowd...but turns out to be a one hell of a Gang Banging from small kids...and though it sounds like a bad thing..but from the picture u can see that there is one guy who is encouraging his kid to be part of the GangBang fiesta...haha...pity the Lion dance..guess it felt that it need some attention since its a Tiger year..not its year...awww..

sadly i don have dragon dance photos...but i do have video of it...

its a close up one...and i have to take video of it..because its dragon..my chinese zodiac man!=D

~for your infomation there was a third one..but i didnt take it...because i didnt expect there is another fireworks.....but that one..one word....BOOOM!!!!it didnt launch nicely so it was launched downwards and u know..fireworks got many rounds wan right?

~but..this is all in one shot.and BOOOOOOM...a very damn loud explosion happened and the sparkles were flying to the ground and the crowd were scared to death...LOL...was very havoc at that time...but dunno why..i wasnt scared but i was like...WOW...

~now thats entertainment...not be cruel...but this thing is once in a lifetime...but thankfully no one was harmed by the incident..

oh well...things must come to an end...so i headed back to my relative's house after that...

that time was a Saturday...friday...we arrived late...so there is nothing much to talk about..

On Sunday...its time for Melaka..and hopefully there wont be any havoc incidents...

a looooong 3 months holiday indeed...and i had been busy since last year with the amount of work for my family's house renovation...

because of this..i hardly had time to hang out with my friends for drink or movie...or even go for a holiday outside.....only once i went for movie..but that was right before the main renovations began...

this renovation was really no joke...though my family were not the ones that do the work in renovating the place..but the coordinations and cleaning were the busy ones...i need to carry heavy stuff, clean the house, arrange things, take care of the house, and so much more...was so tiring....

other than that...i had been working out my body...had been training at home for few weeks now..and so far...i think its alright..i feel stronger...but my purpose is just muscle toning...not until so hardcore la..haha..

at times i also played tennis...not much though due to the renovation and transport difficulties...so instead of playing tennis often..i watched tennis more from Australian Open..lolz...but after watching it too much...my desire to play tennis grew more each day...but only managed to play once...was suppose to play this morning but didnt...he fong fei kei(didnt keep promise) me...tried to call him this morning but he didnt pick up...oh well...don care..

and to my surprise...i didnt online that often compared to my last 3 months holidays and in KL..but still i did online..check news..keep in touch with friends...watch anime and of coz....writing this blog...XD

but now..its end of january..and the renovations were almost complete..just left the extra cupboard....sadly i don have the pictures of them as i kinda lazy to take pictures of them...

sorry...haha..

2010 fresh look

with a blink of an eye, a new year has begun...2010..another new year full of challenges and opportunities lie ahead..

since its a new year i should begin with a new me...and yes...its my hairstyle change..

the usual hairstyle where i let my hair loosen up...

shorter than before...and was able to add a little spike on my right side of head..=)

when i put this picture in my msn...most of the conversation that i had with my friends...the first line that they would say to me is...'wow, you cut your hair ah?'...

to be honest..normally when i cut my hair...most ppl wont notice...and i m glad its a different response...whether its good or bad doesnt matter...

but i like this hair...coz...normally when i just woke up from sleep, i would need to either wet my hair to comb my hair or put some hair gel to make my hair look good..but this...i don have to comb so much...coz its spiky!

however, this might not last very long as my hair is the type that grow very fast...oh well...what a short time that was..but a great and pleasant one..=)
